Exporting Data

Hunch allows you to export your session data for further analysis. This guide covers the export options available.

Export Formats

Hunch supports two export formats:

  • CSV: Spreadsheet-compatible format for Excel or Google Sheets
  • JSON: Machine-readable format for developers and custom analysis

Exporting Sessions

To export your session data:

  1. Go to the Analytics section in your dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Sessions list
  3. Click the Export button
  4. Select your preferred format (CSV or JSON)
  5. Choose the date range for export
  6. Click Download

CSV Export

The CSV export includes the following columns:

Message CountTotal messages in the session
StatusAI handled or human escalated

JSON Export

The JSON export provides comprehensive session data including:

  • Full message history for each session
  • Visitor metadata
  • Timestamps for each message
  • Session attributes

Export your data for:

  • Reporting: Create custom reports for stakeholders

Data Retention

Exported data includes all sessions within your selected date range. Plan your exports regularly to maintain comprehensive records of your visitor conversations.
